Your personal yoga practice is a great way to ramp up for your day, or to unwind after a full day. Its a no-hassle, highly beneficial reason to dive in and carve out some time to take care of yourself. For the exercise and for the stress-reducing it offers. A great way to understand the poses is to look at the roots, and the fundamentals as you try out new movements with your body. Yoga, True Nature: 108 Inspirations moves you to that understanding. It will become a go-to resource as you keep up your yoga practice. At home or with a class – when classes resume – this book will keep you focused with inspiration, and grounded with awareness as you become the master of your practice.
We are fortunate to have one of the first copies of Yoga. True Nature.
This is more than a wonderful book … it is a piece of art. I cannot imagine how many hours of effort went into this endeavour by Lori Myles-Carullo and George Fischer using their respective talents. Congratulations.
The combination of the beauty of the yoga poses and the beauty of nature is amazing. The photography is outstanding. The explanations of the poses are clear and well written and the messages are inspiring.
This book appeals to yogis and others because of its artistic merit.
Upon opening my copy of “Yoga:True Nature; 108 Inspirations” I was in awe of the amazing talent of photographer George Fischer, and that of his co-author Lori Myles-Carullo. As I glanced through the book I was captivated by the immense beauty of the land and the graceful, skilled yoga postures. It is obvious that Lori Myles-Carullo is not only a gifted yogini but also a person who has studied the many dimensions of yoga. She exhibits a true appreciation of the calm, tranquil aspect that yoga can bring to our body, mind and spirit.
I congratulate them both on their skill of uniting physical asanas with the exquisite scenarios of the beauty that lies within the Magdalen Islands.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to experience true beauty and the gift that Mother Earth has bestowed upon us.
